|02:55 pm - Tree House|
This is a new feature at work which will serve at the 'clubhouse' for our Kids' Coati Club.
I must admit, when they said they were going to build a treehouse, I imagined something a little more substantial. After all, someone bid thousands of dollars at our Gala to be the first people to "spend the night" in the new treehouse. I'm not sure I'd want to be that exposed after dark on grounds, especially with the javelina still on the loose...
Javelina thinks, "Mmmm... people food!"

My thoughts exactly!
Maybe they'll station security at all points of entry...
Forgive me for stating the obvious but isn't a "tree house" supposed to be UP in a tree? Otherwise it is very cool.

You're absolutely right, and the original location would have had the two large platforms built in the branches of a massive Ironwood tree next to our cafe. However, for reasons that I'm not familiar with, they changed their minds and it's now little more than a ramp between two paths on different levels.
Ah well. Workplace decisions are often obscure.
Well, that's not a tree house but it's pretty cool. My girls would like it.
What's a javelina?

I think you must have missed this entry
on my journal earlier, Nellie! It might make you think twice about letting your girls spend the night here.
So happy to read today how your life is getting better, too. *hug* Good luck with the job.
The tree house looks wonderful and was probably the best and creative design the Architect could come up with after the zoning people and insurance company squashed the plans for a real tree house.
I had a broken down tree house on my property when I purchased it. It looked out over the rive and waterfalls. I hope to rebuild it some day.
Our biggest threat up here is tree dwelling porcupines.
I read through all your web sites and you are "Quite the Sweetheart" and very talented too.
You do great photography and I am amazed at the colors you captured in those clouds
This is John seeking a sane and peaceful refuge from RGs blog.

Re: Tree House
Hi, John and welcome! Hopefully we can draw some of the insanity away from RiftGirl's comments section (although I suspect she enjoys it too!)
I added you as a friend, so you can now go back and read through my previous entries here and see all the 'friends-only' ones as well. ;)
Thank you for the compliments on my photography.
And give my love to Joanna when you see her. ;)
peaceful refuge from RG? Don't you know you need to get on the ark? The RG flood will consume everything, overtake every piece of land like a 40 day flood! Flee the coming RG wrath!
Oh wait, sorry, I've been getting blasted by religious people lately. Sorry! RG rocks.
